Perfect place to stay in Udaipur. The hostel is very comfortable, neat and tidy. The staff is very welcoming and helpful (many thanks to Vaishali). Perfect location, nearby the City Palace. The rooftop provides a spectacular view of the town. I do recommend staying here.

The view is incredible and there are two different floors to eat food and have a drink. The staff are incredibly helpful; we needed assistance booking tickets for the next leg of our journey and they completely saved us. Very sweet and kind and helpful people. The location is perfect it is quiet but still very close and scenic walk to all the main places you will want to go.

The place was just what we expected based on the description and the comments of previous guests. It is indeed a bit remote and not so easy to find, but that's also part of its charm and something that makes it unique. The hosts were happy to help and explain to our driver how to reach the hotel. Our stay there was peaceful and calm because, I guess, that is also the vibe that both the location and the hosts exude. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. That staff was always there when you needed them but never intrusive. Would heartily recommend it and would definitely like to return.

Great family business with everyone contributing. Great rooftop hang out with cold beer available (at a price). I had a fan room and it was perfectly comfortable temperature-wise even though it was warm outside. Location handy for old town exploring but can get to other lake nearby for 100rupee I. tuk tuk. Can 100% recommend.

Our stay at Wyndham grand in Udaipur was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed — not in a rehearsed hotel-hospitality way, but with real warmth and attention. The check-in was smooth, and they even offered us a welcome drink that immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had this serene view that made us want to just sit by the window and soak in the surroundings. Every small detail — from the perfectly made bed to the thoughtful amenities — showed how much care goes into maintaining the place. What really stood out, though, was the service. Whether it was room service, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond without ever feeling intrusive. I’ve stayed at Veda Heritage Hotel for 3 days and my experience there has been amazing. The location is perfect, nearby the main Udaipur attraction and in the city centre. The hotel is really beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and well-stocked. Viksa and all the staff were very kind and friendly and they helped me whenever I was in need. They provided me everything I asked for and they treated me very well. Also I was not feeling very good, so they prepeared me fresh fruit to feel better. Very nice! If I’d ever come back to Udaipur, I will for sure stay here again. Highly recommended!
