When I booked the homestay there was this particularly one review that caught my interest, which was that the owner Vinayak is an exceptional host, besides all the scienic surroundings of course. All my expectations were easily surpassed!!! Easily. Besides arranging small trips/hikes and asking what I wanted to do during my stay, all small things, like bringing two cups of coffee instead of one (the way I like it of course) in the morning, going with the owner on his scooter to buy paint in the local village and arranging so I could go with other guests on a day trip just with them and taking me to a tea plantation and cardamom rostery though it should have been closed and spent like 5 hours with only me, etc, made me genuinly feel as a special guest. The brother Vivek, being around for some time, was also good fun and showed me around in their lovely farm just after my arrival. All in all, this will be hard to exceed.

A Magical New Year’s Experience in the Heart of the Indian Jungle We had the privilege of spending New Year’s Eve at this incredible property, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Nestled in the middle of the Keralan jungle, the location itself is stunning, offering a peaceful and unique atmosphere. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional service from the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel truly welcome, and we were so grateful for their attentiveness throughout our stay. The New Year’s Eve celebration was absolutely spectacular! The buffet offered an impressive array of authentic, mouthwatering dishes, and the variety was beyond what we expected. The evening was filled with lively entertainment, including a DJ and a breathtaking fireworks display, making it a magical way to ring in the new year right in the heart of the jungle. The property itself is beautifully maintained and stylish, with every corner thoughtfully designed. Even outside of the festive season, it’s the perfect destination to immerse yourself in nature, relax, and recharge. The infinity pool was a highlight, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. A special thank you to Manager Gokhul, whose hospitality truly stood out. He graciously allowed us to fly our drone and capture the breathtaking beauty of the property. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly accommodating and made us feel like part of the family. As we checked out, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture of homemade cookies and cakes as a farewell gift. Leaving this paradise was bittersweet – we were so sad to go and already planning our next visit. We can’t wait to return to this amazing place!

Huge rooms with separate common room area - great for getting ready early morning without disturbing others for example - and a balacony with an amazing view! Hot water, purpose built bunks, comfy bedding, Offers great food and excursions. Nice common areas outside as welll. Pretty good wifi!
