The accomodation, breakfast, lovely owner and staff were exceptional. The kitchen had everything that you needed and more. You can even do your washing if required. A bonus is the lovely hot spring available after a days hiking or sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Just 15 minutes’ drive from Geysir and 18 km from Gullfoss Waterfall, this property offers modern cottages with free WiFi as well as a restaurant open all the year and hot baths.

Little Houses separately in the middle of the field. Nice views with glass in the dinning/kitchen room. Comfortable. Woman owner very nice and kind. Owners have a restaurant with delicious lamb, soup lamb and fillet lamb with vegetables in oven. They have sheeps as farmers. The best and really Iceland food we had. We had a very nice time there. Many thanks!!!!!

The accommodation has really convinced us 100% and we would book this again at any time. There is a lot of love in the furnishings, the equipment is exemplary and you could feel extraordinarily comfortable there. The highlight was of course watching the northern lights from the hot tub. We were lucky enough to see this natural spectacle on several days with cloudless skies. But also because of the sauna and the fireplace, the wellness and relaxation factor was very high after long day trips to visit the surrounding sights. Connection to the ring road is within about half an hour. For those who haven't planned their trip in advance, there is also a guest book available with all the important information, including instructions on how to use the great hot tub. All in all, we are thrilled and would recommend this accommodation to all rental car travelers who value that certain something, who want a good starting point for visiting the sights of the Golden Circle and the South Coast. Our excursion tip for those who want to enjoy nature a little off the tourist crowded paths: starting from the famous waterfall Skogafoss, you can climb the stairs and make a great hike along the river. It leads along many smaller, but no less beautiful waterfalls and ends at the imposing Skalabrekkufoss. Another highlight was the hike in Reykjadalur, a volcanically active high temperature area. Be sure to bring bathing suits, as there is a designated spot where you can swim in the river, which is fed by warm springs.

We stayed in 12 different homes during our trip to Iceland, and this one was by far the best. With a geothermal hot tub, two bedrooms, and a cozy interior, it had everything we needed. The house is located right in the middle of nature, which was amazing.
