Lovely place. Marco, the owner of the DeD Palace, is so friendly and ready to help at any moment. We enjoyed the sunset from the roof top, where it is possible to spot Rome and the Church of St. Peters. The buildning is nicely renovated, and with pictures on the walls of the earlier old apartment, you really see the hard work put into this place. We stayed in the room with black and white tiles, and especially enjoyed the view from the window, the bathtub, the aircon and the tiny fridgde. In the kitchen you can make yourself a cup of coffee. We are ready to come back and visit this place another time.

My first impression of Tivoli was one of apprehension as it looked very different than all the videos I had used as research, but on arriving at the old town my mind was put at ease. I had made a bit of a mess trying to find my host Daniela, but in fairness she gave up her time and waited for me to arrive. When I met Daniela, she took me to the apartment, from the outside it was very unassuming, on the inside it was a different matter. It was immaculately clean and very spacious. Everything looked and felt brand new. Daniela gave us a brief overview of Tivioli and a tour of the apartment, the Tiramisu of that tour was the roof terrace on the top of the apartment. The view was spectacular and watching the few evening sunsets that I had was a wonderful experience. I had everything that I needed for a short or even extended stay. I had decided that I would like to be close to Rome in case I wanted to visit it, but I did not wish to stay in the city of Rome as the Jubilee was on and it was very busy so Tivoli was perfect and was about 30 mins by train. Everything was well tought out and I would not hesitate to stay again.
