The staff was so welcoming and answered questions right away. They even brought dog bowls for us when I'd forgotten mine at home. The location was fantastic and easy to get to. The room was beautiful and surprisingly quiet for being so central. We will definitely come back.

This place is something else! Tranquil paradise in Umbria with lovely views. Traditional but modern interior which includes some furniture pieces hand made by the host Alessandro who has been wonderful with us. Farm house newly renovated with all comforts. Good shower. Good coffee machine. Quiet place. The owner's restaurant in town is excellent as well. There's free parking right beside the restaurant and you can walk to the centre from there. Beware the walk is steep with many steps. But you can also take the shuttle bus.

    We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

    From beginning to end, our stay at Borgo Petroro was truly great! The location is stunning and we had a beautiful view across the hills from our room. We were well taken care of by the attentive and friendly staff throughout our stay. We loved our time in Umbria and this was a great base from which to explore!!
