The place was spacious enough for our little family with plenty of room for the kids to run and play without fear of them breaking anything. The Cubby house was awesome with a project cinema and heating great for a movie night. And it provided provision for pets too. Best stay we have had in Japan.

Very spacious, traditional Japanese house in the countryside. Wake up to uguisu calling! My kids loved exploring the yard and working the bikes and discovering the nooks and crannies around the house (and also talking to the Alexa device and getting it to play music!). There were also a lot of interesting things to touch and play with in the house which was great for kids. Nothing was off limits! The kitchen is very well-equipped (we didn't use the indoor bbq) and there was a great onsen 500M up the road (closes at 7pm, 850yen for adults, about half that for children). The owner lives near by and popped over to explain the house to us as soon as we arrived. We used this as a base to explore the Deep Sea Aquarium at Nezu port but we could have happily spent a quiet day in the house. Shops are a short drive away. We didn't get to try the cafe but it looked amazing. Views of Mt Fuji 2min walk down the road. We would like to have the time to explore this part of Japan more.

This is the second time I’ve been here this year. After I loved it here so much in April I came back with my wife. We had an absolute ball and my wife who is as total foodie loved the breakfast and dinners. They’re a bit pricey but totally worth it. Some of the best food we had on our trip. The hospitality is absolutely top notch and I hope to come back again.

The House is really special, it looks nice on the photos but in reality it is a Dream. Every room is different and it is still fitting well together, from playful to relaxed and entertainment to traditional rooms you have everything or better more than you need in this House. It was an Amazing stay that I can recommend to everyone.

Ben and Kaya were both great, friendly and committed hosts. My partner and I had a great and relaxing time on a 1 minute walk from the beach. The hosts were so friendly to share most sourrounding restaurants and the nearest Onsen with us. We could always reach them directly via chat if we had any questions. It's also possible to cook your own food. All cooking facilities are available. To conclude: if you love the beach and enjoy Japanese culture in a more rural place, then we definitely can recommend you to stay here.

First and foremost, the entire property was carpeted, providing a safe and worry-free environment for children to run, play, and even tumble around. We were at ease knowing that they could freely enjoy themselves without any concerns of getting hurt. Additionally, having a private hot spring bath like a family bath was a delightful bonus. It was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us to relax and enjoy the hot springs together. The kids absolutely loved it, and it added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Furthermore, the fact that the rental was exclusively ours allowed us to enjoy our time without worrying about the noise or disturbances caused by our children. It provided us with a sense of privacy and freedom that made our trip even more enjoyable.
