The homestay is traditional stilted home and is very clean and well presented. It’s located in the countryside next to an irrigation channel and has beautiful views over the rice paddies and towards the spectacular Phnom Sampov and bat caves, which are only a short walk away. Lem, the owner, is an excellent tour guide and took us out in his tuk tuk and on the back of his moped to see some amazing local countryside and attractions for a very reasonable price. He even came on an early morning run up to the temple with us. He’s amazing! His wife prepares the meals and is an excellent cook. Staying here is an absolute must; very quiet and an authentic countryside experience.

Totally our top during SEA trip. Such a chill place, that will suit everyone - family, couple, digital nomad, solo backpacker. Restaurant has good prices, rooms are clean and fans are strong enough so you don't need aircon. Big pool area with trees and umbrellas, so everyone can find their spot. And also you can swim at 23:00, it is still open! We also booked a connection straight to Bangkok at the counter and everything went well.

These guys are fantastic, this is not a guesthouse but a home. Life is just easy at Bar Ang, you have everything you can possibly need when traveling. Anut and John’s hospitality and thoughtfulness are hard to describe, they just put so much of their hearts into this place. Definitely a highlight of our trip. The guesthouse, the scooters, the food, the help, the morning coffees, the noodle breakfasts, the stories, Anut’s smile and most of all, the company of these two- we are so grateful to have come across this place.
