Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. The place has this calm, homely feel that’s hard to come by, and it made us feel relaxed straight away. The standout? Definitely the privacy. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos. Perfect for couples who want to switch off, slow down, and just enjoy being somewhere that feels like home — only better. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back. Absolute gem.

I had a great stay! The house is incredibly cozy, clean, and very modest – perfect for a relaxing visit. It’s conveniently located close to Cargills Food City, Keells Super, and many other facilities, making it super easy to get whatever you need. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

We stayed at this house for 2 days while on holiday. It is conveniently located closer to Kottawa Town. The property is next to a paddy field in a peaceful relaxing environment. It also has air conditioned clean rooms, full kitchen, bathrooms, etc. There is lot of space for kids to play and and strolling on the paddy fields was an extra. Host communicated proactively via the web site and gave us a number to contact for getting the key. He met us at the arrival and gave us a tour of the house. Overall extremely satisfied and great place.

Very large room with kitchenette and bathroom, huge flat screen smart TV and A/C. The entire floor has a series of similar flats opening to terrace and landing with microwave, ironing board and laundry lines. Very convenient location near Maharagama centre near the Colombo-Batticaloa highway and at a few minutes from Kotte and Polwatta. The host is fully proficient in accommodating all nationalities and provides a plethora of amenities for either cooking, cleaning, or refreshments. He also was assisting to further my trip in the most budget friendly and efficient manner. All of it for an unbeatable value for money rate.

Even though it was 2am, Mohamed welcomed us with passion fruit drinks and showed us to our rooms. He also made us a delicious breakfast the next morning. We wish we had stayed longer, but it was the perfect overnight stop on our way to our next destination!
