The room is very modern with ac and ceiling fan. It was clean and furnished in a stylish way. We loved the view from the balcony to the train tracks train passing by in the early morning). The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We liked it that it is a bit outside of kandy (15mins by tuktuk), so it was very quiet.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Kandy home stay. Jaliya and Shama were the kindest hosts we’ve stayed in 3 months of travelling Sri Lanka. The house is absolutely immaculate and you have access to a wonderful balcony set in nature. The facilities are excellent and the highest standard we have experienced since leaving the U.K. I highly recommend visiting Kandy home stay.

This beautiful guesthouse is perfect for some days in Kandy. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but it was still very nice. Big garden, super friendly and helpful staff, quiet neighbourhood (10minutes drive from the center) and nice rooms. We enjoed our stay very much and the spontaneous cooking class made it even better. The warm welcome from Kosala and Vipul has been the highlight of our stay. They really made us feel at home. As we arrived, they were two strangers, but as we left, they were to very good friends to us. They were very helpful with everything, answered all our questions, and Kosala's cooking was always delicious. They were always keen on making sure we were satisfied with everything. The room and bathroom were both very clean and confortable. The bed was also very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the big terrace with table and chair which allowed us to regularly relax, eat and/or work on our computers. The place is situated about 15min drive from the main center but this allows for a very calm and quiet place. Kosala and Vipul's english is very good which allowed for really great exchanges.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice clean and quiet rooms spacious enough for Family with 2 Kids. My Kids love the french fries esp. And food in the hotel. Maxi and his Team are extremely professional. Best Small hotel that we had in Sri Lanka especially in Terms of breakfast, including proper food handling :) Worth recommending :)

Incredible hosts. Perfect stay in Kandy. Good location. Up a big hill which was great for the views and the quiet, however if you aren't very mobile it's quite a trek without a tuk tuk. The room was perfect.
