The hotel staffs are exceptional: friendly, helpful, polite and very kind. They also provide some tours available at the Hotel both in Kathmandu and cities around. I love how they have digital TV so I can watch Youtube/Netflix during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Rambler Hotel. The location in the heart of Thamel is perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu!

Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, steady supply of hot water. There were comfortable couches outside where you could chill. The staff and especially the owner were very helpful. The location is central in thamel near many restaurants and shops, but it's not too loud at night

Everything was perfect! The beds are super comfortable, everything is clean and the shower is hot, and the receptionist is incredibly nice and helpful. It's hands down the best hostel in Kathmandu, with 5 starts amenities.

This is a really great place to stay in in Kathmandu. It’s very central but quiet because it’s off any of the main roads. The garden is perfect to relax in. The staff is really friendly and helped us with absolutely everything - taxis, bus tickets, a tour of Bhaktapur and Patan and they also stored our bags during our Langtang Valley Trek. The prices they charged for busses and tours were very fair. The food here is also delicious! We tried a few cafes and restaurants in Thamel but the food in Birds Nest was at least as good! We stayed here 3 times during our time in Nepal and will happily stay here again next time!

I simply love this place and this family. Shortly after arriving it already felt like home. I had the pleasure to spend one month in this Homestay and I would (and will) come back in a heartbeat.     A very easy location. Room was not large, but big enough for 2 people and luggage,vand quite comfortable. Appreciated the Filtered water available to fill up your bottles. There were a number of nice sitting areas including garden and balcony. Owners kindly looked after our bags while we went off trekking. Would recommend Fresco Retreat for sure.
