It was a very beautiful property, highly recommended, warm homestyle with a great mixture of artistic and creative flair, still the convenience of a large smart tv streaming options, modern bedrooms with large comfy beds. The kitchen was very clean and modern as was the bathroom and the lounge areas comfortable and great wifi. The balcony was a great place to sit with views over Whangarei. Gabbie was a very lovely host, who showed caring towards guests, attention to detail and great suggestions of places to go Everything helped to make our stay memorable in this home away from home. Our host was so helpful. The room was beautiful and exactly as described with a small verandah with a stream going by. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best we've had. The facilities have everything you might need and everything is so clean.

The cottage is very cosy and situated in a very peaceful quiet spot. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds in the big tree outside. It is very private, but we also had the opportunity to chat with the very friendly and helpful owner, who even shared her homegrown bananas with us. We'd happily come again.

The house was perfect very homely close to town and the view is amazing. Our kids (teenagers) loved the pool table and ping pong we will definitely be back next time we are home.

We are a family from Germany who is spending the 2024 Christmas holidays in New Zealand. The house in Whangarei has a fantastic location. With a view of the harbour and the surrounding countryside. The equipment of the house is great. What I liked best was having the patio door open at dinner and being able to see the sunset. My son was very enthusiastic about the pool and my daughter was happy to have her own bedroom. Communication with the landlord was excellent. We felt very comfortable in the house and have made very nice trips from Whangarei.
