Salem dis welcome us and brought us to the beach, beautiful sand beach with no one. Dinner was grilled fish and he took us on the sea the next morning to see dolphins and turtles, a must do! the rooms were perfect for our family of 6 and very clean. I would highly recommend a stay at Salem’s

We really liked this place and enjoyed our stay here. The host is incredibly friendly and loves to offer tea and dates. From him we learned a lot about turtles, rain in oman etc. ;-) The terrace does not only provide shade, it is also a nice place to meet other guests and relax in the afternoon. About the surroundings: The turtle reserve in Ras al Jinz is about a 20 mins drive away, so not too far if you want to go there for the morning or evening-excursion. The beach in Ras al Hadd itself is really quiet. From here you can go snorkeling and on a boat tour to see some dolphins or turtles in the water, if you're lucky ;-) the trip can be booked at the guest house

A wonderful stay full of kindness and magic! We had an amazing experience at Afaq Guest House! The host was incredibly flexible and kind — we had accidentally booked two apartments, and he kindly canceled one for free just two days before our arrival. He also arranged a delicious dinner even though we confirmed only 50 minutes before getting there! Everything was spotless, and both dinner and breakfast were homemade and delicious. Our kids absolutely loved the experience — the host showed us the glowing light plankton at night, rescued little turtles crossing the road, and even arranged a last-minute night tour to see the big turtles on the beach. He was friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Afaq Guest House felt like staying with friends — we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman!

Rashid was an excellent host! We had a delicious dinner (fresh fish and chicken) and also got to see turtles and did a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! The house is very clean and big comfortable rooms. Everything was excellent!
