Ann and her husband are so welcoming and friendly, and have such a lovely property - breakfast was a treat, and we enjoyed our conversation. This is a lovely alternative and welcome change to hotel accommodation, so peaceful and such a beautiful setting. We highly recommend a stay at the Old Hen House.

The breakfast was exceptional. We didn't have a kettle in the apartment but were given one upon request. The owner was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The building and gardens are beautiful.

A bit hidden but worth going there. Very attentive and warm hosts. Clean and beautiful rooms invite you to stay. The restaurant was great and there is a lot of emphasis on local and sustainable food. We felt very welcome and are really looking forward to the next time.

Pretty idyllic location, very spacious property, and a lovely fireplace & hot tub to enjoy! It was a perfect place to spend 2 nights in total relaxation and silence. James (one of the owners) welcomed us nicely and was always available for anything we needed. The kitchen was also equipped with all the needed tools (and even more).
