Absolutely loved our stay at Camp Manatee—and the name truly says it all! We were thrilled to spot real manatees swimming right in the canal in front of the house. The first sighting was a mama with her baby—an unforgettable and emotional moment for all of us. The house itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. There were more than enough pillows and blankets to keep everyone cozy, and the garden space was wide, peaceful, and perfect for kids to roam freely. Communication with the host was excellent—she was always available via Booking App/Email and provided super helpful tips, including a great spot for a swim with the kids. A truly wonderful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed every minute!

Exceptionally well planned accommodation with tremendous facilities as described. Well sited with many Crystal River facilities just around 10 minutes away e.g. manatees, boat trips, traditional breakfast diner, Publiks (for stocking up). The weather wasn't ideal, so we found the games room ideal (useful ping pong kit) and the Roku TV meant that apps could be easily accessed. Parking in the drive also very helpful. While we were a small group there would certainly be room for many more..a real bargain.

Everything! I have never been a guest in a more friendly hotel. From the front desk, to the cleaning staff, and to the breakfast crew and other hotel guests... everyone was friendly and interested in making my stay pleasant. No hassle check in. Plenty of convenient on-site parking. Clean and comfortable facility.. The complimentary breakfast was well organized and offered a sufficient amount and selection. I highly recommend this Holiday inn Express. The location is conveniently located to local shopping, restaurants, and Manatee excursions.

Nice home, quiet neighborhood. I would say, 30 minutes from Homossassa give or take, 45 min from Rainbow Springs. Good location overall, close to shops and restaurants. Backyard is abandoned and not as clean as I expected with the 9+ rating. There was hair, fridge was dirty, and outside is very dirty- for me, but I am very picky, so maybe for a family, with kids, dogs, it would be a good choice. :)

The breakfast was very basic but appreciated, considering the nightly cost and the location/view. The view was EXCEPTIONAL-like being in Shangri-La. Some guests might not like the Port because it is old and not updated but that is what we love about it-it is old Florida which is disappearing more and more as the big guy Hotels take over and everything looks the same. We will return again and again. And the fact that it is dog-friendly makes it even more wonderful! The front desk girls could not have been more friendly and hospitable!!

Loved the screened in pool and the secluded house. Luckily, my wife and I did not have per allergies as there were plenty of cat and/or dog hair all over the living room rug, sofa and other bedroom surfaces. These would have significant ramifications for those who have severe reactions to pet dander.

This home was large, offered the space that we needed, included a fenced in yard and was pet friendly. We were grateful for these! It was also clean inside. The location was down a gravel street but it was close to shopping. There were some internet issues but the host was prompt in responding and helping it get fixed. They also had someone come bring cleaning supplies.
