Loved the cozy atmosphere of the rooms. Very conveniently located, 30 minutes drive to the East Entrance of Yellowstone. We also attended a Rodeo on Cody which is the last town before reaching this hotel. The person at the reception was fantastic. She even gave us courtesy snack bags which were much appreciated.

The animals were awesome. Of course there were cattle, horses, and mules. {working ranch} oh I forgot about the cats to. but there was also elk, emus, {deer on the sidewalk right outside the window} All of the animals were seen from the living room window. Talk about views, with the mountains in the back ground. Kinda hard to beat.

Pet friendly. Surprise bagged breakfast to go. Very pleasant staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and a bit rustic. While short on amenities, this is a prime little hotel to stay at to get into Yellowstone ahead of everyone else in Cody, with the added scenery of the national forest and mountains next to Yellowstone.
