• “A truly authentic Mekong experience! The bungalow was simple but charming, surrounded by fruit trees and lotus ponds. We loved cycling through the village, joining a local family for cooking, and just relaxing in the peaceful garden. Staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home.” • “If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place. But if you want authenticity, warm hospitality, and nature, Mekong Rustic is perfect. The highlight for us was waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying breakfast with fruits picked from the garden.” • “The cooking class and market visit were unforgettable. We had the most amazing Homestay with this family. It was so nice to meet and talk to such a close knit and welcoming family. The rooms were really nice and the bathrooms were clean and even had hot water. The scenery is gorgeous - you can relax in hammocks over looking the rivers! The host cooked the most incredible dinner for us (honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Vietnam!) and for what she served it was very good value for money - shrimp cakes, soup, fresh vegetables with beef, the most delicious fish, and fruit for dessert! The host provides bikes for you to explore the island free of charge and gives you very good tips on the routes to take. She was also incredibly helpful, giving us information on how to get from Can Tho to her, and booking the bus from her to Ho Chi Min for us. The breakfast was very good too. We really hope to be back one day - to the most gorgeous island and an even better Homestay.

The place with it’s big garden is just wonderful. Very clean room. The breakfast is really excellent. Bikes are free, motorbikes 150 000 dongs per day. Nature around is incredibly beautiful, with thousands of canals all around. Perfect for cycling or biking. I strongly recommend!!

We had a beautiful stay here, in a garden view room. So quiet and peaceful, room was large and very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Great pool and the massage area looked beautiful but we didn’t have a chance to try it out.
