Our stay at Hmong House was absolutely lovely. It’s a special place run by two warm and gracious hosts. The views are spectacular and the rooms very comfortable. Despite the chilly December nights, we were warm and cozy in our little bungalow. A wonderful place :)

Ms Swon, the owner (sorry for the wrong spelling) is the best. She accommodated all our requests. Our room was squeaky clean & huge for the 3 of us. It has an amazing view of the lake at the balcony. Wifi is strong, breakfast is delish, location is quite uphill but is close to everything with various shortcuts in any direction. Tea, coffee, sugar, water, towels & other essentials are replaced daily. Hotel has an elevator. We had 5kg of laundry & had the best room massage yet we paid a very cheap price for everything. Ms Swon is always smiling & can speak proper English. I would definitely book again when I revisit Sapa.

I thought it was excellent value for money. Staff was extremely friendly and made everything in their power to make my stay as nice as possible. Eric, the manager, is really very friendly and helpful, and his English is excellent, so communication was very easy and good. Viet and the other staff members were also very kind and friendly. Viet, who is a very attentive and dedicated person, prepared for me a nice fresh breakfast. The hotel room and the bed were very comfortable. I liked the traditional handcrafted decoration very much. Handwash, shampoo and bodywash are provided (in big eco-friendly bottles instead of single use packets, which is also great for sustainability). The location is very convenient, close to the lake, the traditional market and also to the bus station. Nearby there are many restaurants.

The family is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. They have some really cute and friendly dogs and cats on the property. It’s a nice cosy home stay not too far out from town but by a nice rice terrace so you have a beautiful view.

The house, view, host family, and staff are amazing. I arrived early, and they got my room ready as soon as the previous guest checked out so I could check in early. There are dogs and cats, so you must be animal friendly and better not allergic, but they all are nice and like pets.
