We were upgraded to rooms that were very spacious and overlooked an amazing view of the adjacent valley. The view and the room's decoration are really magnificent. The hotel owner was present most of the time and was also accessible via WhatsApp when we had a question, whether related to the stay at the hotel, or not. This was very helpful on a few occasions when we were touring outside of the hotel and needed help or advise. Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant and we will gladly come back.

The views were stunning and our hosts were extremely sweet, accommodating and welcoming. H’mong was definitely the most unique part of our Vietnam trip so far!! If you get a chance, opt in for the dinner, as the family prepares a delicious traditional meal for you.

Our experience at Hmong Sister in Sapa was a serendipitous journey of forming unexpected connections amidst the mesmerizing landscapes. The homestay, tucked away in a hidden valley, provided a picturesque setting for our trek. The guided trek led us through enchanting paths, traditional encounters, and shared awe. Each step felt like a step towards serendipity. The friendly homestay manager delighted us with surprise activities, fostering a sense of spontaneity and joy. Back at the homestay, we were embraced with warmth and served with meals that felt like a celebration of chance encounters. As the evening approached, we gathered around a charming bonfire, sharing stories that felt like threads weaving us together. Our time at Hmong Sister was a stroke of luck that left us with hearts full of gratitude and cherished memories of Sapa's landscapes and the serendipitous connections we formed with our fellow travelers. While our overall experience was fantastic, some guests mentioned occasional noise from wildlife, which added to the enchanting ambiance but might disturb light sleepers. The homestay's traditional bathroom facilities may present occasional challenges, but it added to the authentic homestay experience. These minor inconveniences were easily outweighed by the trek of serendipity and the hospitable charm of Hmong Sister.

The family is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. They have some really cute and friendly dogs and cats on the property. It’s a nice cosy home stay not too far out from town but by a nice rice terrace so you have a beautiful view.

The house, view, host family, and staff are amazing. I arrived early, and they got my room ready as soon as the previous guest checked out so I could check in early. There are dogs and cats, so you must be animal friendly and better not allergic, but they all are nice and like pets.

We love the place. Sadly it was hazy during our stay we were not able to watch movie and do the bonfire. The owner was very helpful arranging the pick up from the bus station. The place is 30 mins away from Sapa town. He also helped us arrange our tour around Sa Pa. We love his cat “Lux” and dog “Tot” those pets really touched our heart. They have fast internet as well so was able to work during our stay. 😊
