Ilara was the perfect hostess and we combined our stay with a pamper day at Summerfield and a Panorama Route excursion. The meals at Plumbago are 5 star and the staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

At first, you drive along a sketchy road to the lodge until you are surprised by breathtaking scenery. We booked the accommodation as a stopover without any great expectations and were completely surprised. Beautiful grounds, incredibly friendly staff, and fantastic rooms. Kurt, the manager, conjured up a wonderful dinner for us on request and told us a bit about the history of the lodge, as well as giving us further tips for Kruger National Park. We were also able to have breakfast earlier without any problems. Overall, everything was done to make us happy. If our trip hadn't been completely planned out, we would have loved to stay longer.

I had a great stay at Woodpeckers Guest House. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. It’s in a good location and very peaceful. I’ll definitely come back again.
