This is a wonderful place to stay. Incredible location on a creek with mountain views. You're very close to the only other cabin and one of you has to walk past the other. The mosquitos were bad, so bring repellant. The gorgeous cabin and location are exceptional and the owners are the nicest people.

Absolutely great accommodation. Plenty of space, perfectly cleaned. Everything perfectly equipped (maybe even more). The jacuzzi came in handy after a day of hiking. Location in a quiet place, but close to the cable car, bar and more. If I ever returned to this place, this accommodation would be the clear choice.

Le Rondo Motel se trouve à seulement 20 minutes de route de la station de ski de Kicking Horse. Chaque chambre dispose d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et d'une télévision par câble. Many things! The staff was both friendly and efficient. The bed and side chair were totally comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. The air conditioner worked well, and was reasonably quiet. The TV was large and in good condition, and had a solid selection of channels. And it was placed in an area that certainly seemed safe, and also within a 3-5 minute walk of a downtown street with a couple of nearby restaurants and an ice cream shop. Granted, it’s not a modern high rise, and the price was more than I’d like, but it was substantially below most others nearby. That’s the way Golden is in the summer! But for those of us who’ll seek out a local budget spot when the big chains are priced so high in tourist areas, this is a superb choice! Frankly, I’ve stayed in those big ones on the nights before and after the Rondo, and the Rondo was better!
