Daisy was so welcoming and accommodating, especially as we had to change our plans at last minute and amend our booking. Daisy offered to book a boat to our next stop and help with accommodation too. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace space with a hammock to relax. The meals delicious and prepared with love.

If you are looking for somewhere secluded but not to far from Nuqui this is perfect. The owners are amazing hosts who will make sure to give you all the right information. Hugo who works there made sure to help us as well. A perfect stay!

Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with sea views. I loved my stay in retoño, a little paradise in front of the ocean, run by some of the kindest people I’ve met. I had an unforgettable 2 days in there and they can cook an amazing vegetarian meals, there are filtered water as well.

Situated in El Valle, 2.2 km from Playa El Almejal, TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. With a restaurant, the property also has a bar. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

Located in Capurganá in the Choco region, Mi Cabaña El Maderal has a garden. It is situated 400 metres from Capurganá Beach and features a lift. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Located on the beachfront in Bahía Solano, Refugio Mr Jerry Eco House has a terrace. The property features sea and inner courtyard views. The accommodation provides a housekeeping service, private check-in and check-out and organising tours for guests. The place is absolutely wonderful. An isolated paradise with few tourists and wonderful nature around. The place is well kept and clean. The mood is nice, staff is friendly, and the food is very good! The tours to see the whales, playa de los deseos and the jungle at night were very good!

Set just 500 metres from Capurganá Beach, Cabañas Luna Escondida offers accommodation in Capurganá with access to a garden, a bar, as well as full-day security. This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. Gorgeous cabins tucked into the countryside. We loved showering under the stars and the breakfast was so delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful with our travel plans.

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) offers pet-friendly, beachfront accommodations in El Valle - Bahia Solano. The bed and breakfast is located on a small hill on a volcanic peninsula, right on the south end of Almejal beach and has several decks and terraces to help you take in amazing views of the Pacific tropical forest kissing the ocean and the sunset; while allowing you to keep social distance if desire. Ideal for couples or families looking to spent time reconnecting with nature. Monica's place overlooks the beach. The view is absolutely stunning and you can walk down to the beach in seconds or into the village in about 10 minutes. The room was clean and spacious and also had a view of the beach. Plenty of hammocks to relax and enjoy the view and a good book The Pacific coast is one of my favorite places we visited in Colombia and staying in El Valle for the whale watching was convenient. I doubt you'll find a better place or a better host in El Valle who speaks both English and Spanish Thank you Monica 🙌
