Die Unterkunft war sehr groß, wir hatten zwei verschiedene Zimmer mit Betten zur Verfügung. Die Klimaanlage lief super ! Auf Nachfrage haben wir sogar etwas dickere Decken erhalten.

This was a little vacation to celebrate life and man, we hit jackpot!! Gianluca was a great host with super clear directions, and he helped us map potential places to visit and go eat. I forgot to take pictures, but the lodge was absolutely gorgeous, and our room had all that you needed for visiting Cahuita. Die Casa Marcellino Lodge begrüßt Sie in Cahuita in der Region Limon, 200 m von der Stadt Negra entfernt. We loved it here (and even extended our stay)! Well equipped kitchen, very clean, owners are very friendly and helpful, we felt very safe. We travel with small kids and they loved it too. It is very close to playa negra, a couple of restaurants are close and about 15 min walking to the center. Walking distance (20 min) to National Park. The outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach is a plus! All in all a great place!

Beautiful gardens active with birds and animals, including a sloth. The nearby beach was nearly deserted, but for the nesting Leatherback turtles, it seemed ideal. The restaurant served gourmet food. The menu was varied. The Curry to die for!

Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )

Selva Madre Eco-Sanctuary is a real oasis of peace just a few km out from the main road and reachable by a very good path (good to know when driving in Costa Rica). Mary is a beautiful kind person, a great yoga teacher and also a good chef as she cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast in the jungle; she made our staying a unique experience.

Die Unterkunft Casa Numú mit einem Garten ist gelegen in Cahuita, 26 km von Wildtier-Rettungsdienst Jaguar Centro de Rescate und 48 km von Seehafen Puerto Moín entfernt. Of all our accommodations in Costa Rica, this one was the most nature-oriented. Waking up to the sound of birds singing and howler monkeys was absolutely perfect. We saw toucans and hummingbirds in the garden. Even though the house is right next to the jungle, we really felt safe. The main road along the coast is very busy, so we can only recommend choosing accommodations like this one, which is a little further away from the road. Thank you for everything!
