Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Great location , loats of wildlife just in premises, very close to everithing , walking distance to the beach. Good vakue for money.

- The pet must not be left alone in the room Very nice bungalow with full Equipment kitchen and big bathroom. Silent place and a nice garden where you can see different kinds of animal in the morning when you have breakfast on the terrace. The owner life there and when you need anything the help you with all. It Was one of the best place in CR where we stay. Chauita is a traditionell place and ypu have nice Restaurants next to the bungalow orjust 15min the walk to the Center. Puerto Viejo is much expensive and to bussy with a lot of people. Good for visit for one day.

Wonderful kind hosts, a beautiful garden full of wildlife. We saw giant crabs, poison dart frogs, agouti, sloths, many birds and colourful flowers. The restaurant is delicious and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Comfy beds, hammocks and well equipped kitchen. Very child friendly, quiet, clean and lots of fun. We loved it :-)

3 km from Negra, Plaza Tucanito is a recently renovated property situated in Cahuita and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )

I had my birthday here and Marie and her colleagues were so kind and friendly, adding some lovely surprises to my day. The room is beautiful and from your bed you can see the mountains and morning mist rise from the valley. There are loads of spaces to sit and relax in the beautiful nature of the area. There is a well equipped Shala also with great views, the best place ever to do yoga. We also had a tour of the fruit forest which was I enjoyed and was really interesting. Marie can also arrange for you to have a yoga class and we had a lovely Tibetan singing bowl healing. A unique place to stay and I loved it

Jacqueline and Billy (as well as their parents) are extremely sweet and friendly. They showed us all the local attractions, as well as neighboring towns. Thanks to these people, we decided to sell property in England and move here forever!))
