We loved this place! The location was perfect - just on the other side of the pedestrian bridge from the Guggenheim. The apartment was large, comfortable, super clean and modern and really quiet. We expected it to have a corporate feel but the people at reception were so nice and helpful! We had clothes that needed to hang dry and they brought us a standing clothes dryer and extra laundry detergent without us even asking. We highly recommend this place.

At first, I thought it was a bit of a hassle that breakfast wasn’t a buffet but had to be ordered from a menu. However, I was absolutely stunned by how incredibly delicious everything we ordered was. Later, I found out that the restaurant actually has a Michelin star — what a surprise! It’s a great experience to enjoy a Michelin-starred breakfast with your family, so I highly recommend it!

This mountain-style house is located in the town of Hondarribia, 1 km from Irún and 3 km from France, while San Sebastián Airport is a 10-minute drive. Casa Rural Higueralde can be easily reached through the N-1 Motorway. It was a beautiful part of town with a beautiful view and fantastic breakfast! Everyone was very kind and helpful!

We had a great time, including a visit to the winery, a lovely dinner at the hotel, and a jog through the vineyards.
