The kind of place you would expect Don Quijote to pull up in the main square. The place itself was amazingly renovated, in an old fortress/palace with its own church. The breakfast was delicious, but most remarkable was the owner. Although he doesn't speak fluent English, he is the extremely gracious and kind, he accommodated our late arrival, had someone on hand to greet us in English, brought us a platter of fruit on the house in place of dinner since we arrived almost at midnight. He also allowed us to see the crypt underneath the church, a cool experience for my teen son. I wish we could have stayed longer.

No cars allowed there so it's a quiet area even though just round the corner you have all the main areas. I was surprised by how clean they had everything upon my arrival. The apartment is well equipped, especially for longer stays like mine. Maybe I would prefer a separate washing machine for each floor to make things more convenient, especially when it get busy. Last but not least, the hostess, Elsa is rally good at what she's doing and took care of all my needs whenever I needed her support. Definitely coming back next year.
