Owner was very friendly and they had a very lovely dog. The property is like a home. Fantastic place.

I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Hotel Ylläshumina is prachtig gelegen aan het Äkäslompolo-meer, in de buurt van het dorp Äkäslompolo. We are a mixed couple that traveled all the way from Turku, the cabin was very cozy and warm, close enough to the stores, gas station with a beautiful view towards the ski resort. The breakfast was exceptional!

We would happily stay here again.
