My room was comfortable and charming and overlooked the lovely homes across the street. I had dinner breakfast and lunch and all three were great. The village is tiny and quiet and has some charming buildings. I learned from visiting the church nearby that the New Inn has historical Significance as a center of social and civic life.

Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. It was a quaint and newly furnished inn. We wanted to spend the night at Cotswold and chanced upon this inn which was highly rated by other tourists. The room was very large, modern and super comfortable with an ensuite toilet. There is free parking and dogs are all welcome. Staff were super helpful and friendly, they seem to take great pride in working at Bird in Hand. Breakfast was sumptuous and I enjoyed it thoroughly. There are limited rooms so do book early.

Great stay made even better by the most helpful and welcoming staff and locals who chatted to us both nights. Great location for the Cotswolds and touring. Cabin had everything you need. Excellent evening meal too.
