The Red Lion is a Grade 2 listed stone-built coaching inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds. We had an amazing time at the Red Lion Inn. Our stay was wonderful! The inn is extremely cozy! They had little details that made the arrival wonderful (radio with some classical music playing, nice lightning) The decor/art on the inn and the rooms was beautiful. The bath was very big which was a plus for being even more comfortable! Breakfast and food were delicious. The staff was super nice an attentive! Doggies allowed which made the place even better (we didn’t have one but still it was nice to see them around)

(Pets of other kinds are not permitted at the hotel) The place magical country house was fabulous full of history and incredible saff characters was dealt with so much enthusiasm and everything was a sheer quality experience from breakfast to dinner and occasional 🍸 drinks served perfectly the staff fell over each other to be as helpful as they could my hat off to them all

This lodge is 10 km from Warwick Castle and 15 km from Walton Hall. I loved everything. The shepherds hut was lovely, clean and had everything i needed and more. I will definately be visiting again. I had good communication with the hosts right up until my stay, during and on my return. Definately worth a stay, nice campsite with nice walks, pubs and Stratford just down the road, 10/10.
