The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. It is amazingly located place! Beautiful inside. Very nice people run this place! I hope to be back soon 🙂

The geothermally heated Mývatn Nature Baths are 18 km away. The surrounding area is popular for bird watching. Iceland’s premier whale watching location, Húsavík, is a 45-minute drive away. We returned after many years to the farm guesthouse and were highly impressed by the major upgrades. Actually our group rated this place as the highest amongst all we had in Iceland!
