The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. The Staff managed to put away food for us on the side this way when we got to the hotel we had all the meals ready. Thank you hotel Laxa for the great hospitality and good stay!

The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

Tjörn is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. Really enjoyed staying there.

The house is just in front of the lake with a nice terrace, the view is really great. The studio is rather small but very well equipped and decorated. You feel like at home

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. The house was excellent. It is located in a private area in a lava field and is surrounded by low trees. It has a large common living room with an open kitchen. The living room had large glass openings and we could see the trees. It also has a very large balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy nature. The entire house is surrounded by a he living room had large glass openings single balcony with tables and chairs per room. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to make a full breakfast (eggs, oil, butter, jams, milk, etc.) The room was clean and comfortable. The host was cheerful and gave us information about the area. Lake Myvatn, the baths and the other attractions are very beautiful and worth the stay. Unfortunately when we went the Grjotagia cave was closed, but we were compensated by the other attractions.

Grásteinn Guesthouse features a private beach area, garden, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Þórshöfn. This guest house provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Everything was perfect. It was our best catch from our Iceland trip so far and Hildur made a big breakfast with fresh baked bread for us. It's an amazing place and we'll definitely come back one day!

This is the best guesthouse we’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are incredibly kind and hospitable, making it a wonderful experience to spend time with them. The breakfast was delicious, and every single item in the house has a warm and unique charm, making you feel like you're in a movie or a museum. I highly recommend this place!

Loved the location, room was cozy, and had a surprised breakfast in the fridge.
