Francesco and Concetta are the most charming, caring, and hospitable hosts you could meet — they made every moment of our four-day stay an absolute pleasure. From the second we drove up the gravel driveway lined with cypress trees and were greeted personally by Francesco (he waited outside to welcome us!), we knew we had chosen the right place. The property is stunning — with beautiful rooms and cottages scattered across vast grounds surrounded by forest, vineyards, and olive trees. Every corner reveals thoughtful details: a wooden bench overlooking the hills, cozy couches beneath sunshades, and lanterns that glow softly at night. The sense of aesthetics here is truly remarkable. They offer a lovely breakfast with local cheeses and meats, great coffee, baked goods and natural juices. It’s served in a beautiful and elegant dining hall that has a lovely fireplace and seating area, chess boards and books. You could easily spend days just wandering the estate, exploring the forest, and soaking in the views. Lucignano is also perfectly located, within 30–60 minutes of countless Tuscan highlights. We arrived with 3 children under the age of 10. They welcomed us warmly and we were given the last cabin with the gorgeous view. The house is compact and clean. The balcony is a bit hot in the middle of the day but a large parasol is there for shade. In the morning and evening it is pleasant to sit on the balcony with the sun behind. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a wonderful experience. In the afternoon we entered it with cool water and in the evening we filled it with hot water and enjoyed a pleasant experience in nature.

Our room & bathroom were lovely and comfortable. The entire home was decorated with so much care, it really felt welcoming. Our breakfast was delicious each morning and offered a little bit of everything - fruit, yogurt, bread/toast, pastries, meat and cheese. Chiara is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She was very informative with local sites to see and was always willing to help or offer advice for our travels. She is one of those people you wish could be your best friend! :)

The house is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany — most of the region’s most interesting towns and sights are just about an hour’s drive away, which made day trips easy and enjoyable. The house itself is very spacious and excellently equipped with everything we needed, including for traveling with a baby. It felt like a real home away from home. Our hosts were very kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available for questions or tips. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-connected base in Tuscany. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Magisches Häuschen, für uns als Pilger auf dem Franziskusweg ideal gelegen. Wir wären gerne länger an diesem idyllischen, ruhigem Ort geblieben. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein Ort zum entschleunigen.

The place is beautiful, full of greenery and beautiful scenery. The Polo Club being part of the resort, we got to enjoy a relaxing horse ride. The staff was very friendly and explained everything in detail so we could enjoy the experience, although we had never ridden before. We also used the tennis court, also a nice experience. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner at the onsite restaurant was also a nice experience, with the waiter recommending us an excellent wine. The room was spacious, clean. We had a few difficulties renting a car, but Saimira was very helpful, offering to drive us to the train station in Bucine so we could take the train to Arezzo. All in all a lovely experience, we highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back.
