We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!

Appreciate all the service and facilities prepared by the owner. very thoughtful and caring to prepare all daily use towels, tooth brushes, with complimentary drinks and cup noodles. We highly recommend this hostel for family and friends. The outdoor set up and tent was very nice. However, the weather was very hot. We should come back in winter for another stay

The place is wonderful, very typical, very clean, the bed and futons are really confortable. Everything is really well done in this house and make you really feel in Japon. Moreover, the garden is very spacious. The owner let you a recommandation guide very beautiful and conveniant. The owner is really easy to contact, and will give you fast answer.

Kazu and Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided us with great recommendations of local restaurants/shops and activities. Very clean with great sea view. Comes with a free parking space which is a bonus.

The host could not have been friendlier, showed us around the house gave us tips on where to go and where to eat. The property was spotless and the location is a dream. The host has excellent English which makes everything so much easier. I wholeheartedly recommend this location for a holiday. We will certainly be going back if we are in the region again.

I had an amazing stay in Kuon Villa. The house was renovated with much love and combines old and new in a very stylish way. If you want to experience a traditional Japanese house but don’t want to miss out on modern comfort, this is the house for you. This was really one of my best stays in Japan. Spacious modern kitchen and eating area, very comfortable bed and nice Sauna and Bathroom. The highlights are the beautiful Tatami rooms that offer an amazing view into the surrounding Garden. I unfortunately only stayed for one night and spend most of my time sitting in the tatami room, drinking tea and looking at the beautiful Garden. The house also offers a lot of privacy as it is a bit on the edge of the village and has everything you need for a relaxed stay, from BBQ, deckchairs to entertainment system (Bluetooth box and projector). High quality amenities were also supplied. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The house is located in the countryside, I recommend buying supplies in one of the cities on the way. There are also some restaurants nearby. I came by car from Fukuyama which took about an hour and was a nice ride through the hills, I enjoyed staying away from the crowded big cities. The manager was very friendly and replied fast to any questions I had. I will be back for sure, next time for a longer stay.

Totally amazing! Beautifully renovated, authentic house, very cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed the drinks and huge bath. Fresh flowers were such a nice gesture! Perfect house to stay with a family or friends. We wanted to stay for longer!
