Although it takes a bit more effort to get there, I really love the atmosphere of this place. I didn't meet the host the first night and felt a bit cold, but I didn't mention it. To my surprise, the second night I found a hot water bottle in my bed before I went to sleep! The last bus from Kinosaki Onsen leaves a little after 5pm, so if you want to stay in Kinosaki Onsen until the evening, cycling is a good option. The bicycle was really great to ride! Genbudo Cave is also worth visiting; I cycled there after soaking in the onsen. Thanks for all the help from the host!

It took us a while to explore almost every nook of the space. Uda san was such a lovely host, who explained everything to us, from the layout, to the use of the space. There was even a zen garden that spreaded across 2 rooms. The kitchen was well furnished with everything that we could use. The toilet and shower area, though separated, was very well thought through and the shower area was large with a bath tub. The entire home was really amazing! Uda san even assisted us in booking a nice Izakaya for our dinner. We truly loved our stay very much and would definitely loved to stay here again!
