Exceptional hospitality from the lovely owner Gamini. He picked us up from the bus station and also drove us on a tour of the local tea factory and waterfalls for an extremely reasonable price. He even gave us two delicious avocados to eat for breakfast! The room was clean with good bathroom facilities including a lovely hot shower. It even had views of Lovers Leap waterfall in the distance. Brilliant quiet location. Highly recommend this stay!

Very friendly staff who were so accommodating, I had lots of lovely food cooked for me. The location is perfect, the closest you can get to the hike. Nice clean room and facilities with a very comfy and warm bed.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Barnes cottage biedt accommodatie in Nuwara Eliya, op 3,8 km van Lake Gregory en 11 km van Hakgala Botanical Garden. This place was so cosy, it has a fireplace in the bedroom and it was so nice to have it lit at night. There’s also a living living area where I was able to work from (although the internet worked well only for the first day, I was able to hotspot from my phone). There’s a tv you can access YouTube on. Really nice shower with hot water. Cool location at the top of a misty hill, although we did have our own transport which helped. Lovely helpful owners.

The manager accompanied me in tuctuc to the bus station in Hatton to be sure I caught the right bus further on.

Skye Cottage - Nuwara Eliya ligt op een centrale plek in Nuwara Eliya, en heeft uitzicht op de tuin vanaf het balkon. The house is spacious, clean, modern and well maintained. The caretakers were polite and took very good care of us. It is very comfortable whether you travel with a large group of friends or families. They also had a TV/reading room in addition to 4 bed rooms. The drawing/dining space can accomodate nearly 12 to 15 adults at a time.
