Lovely hosts, great breakfast, the room was large and very clean, short walk to the beach and nice to cool off in the the brand new pool!

Brand new rooms with everything new in it (done by loving hands). Good AC. Nice smell. The house is standing across the lake and has a nice garden where you can have a “safari” experience for free. You’re surrounded by nature. This family owned place is full of love and care. There is no room here to list all the wonderful things we received at this place! It captured our hearts! Excellent communication. The owner arranged the best safari driver and very good transfer to our next destination. Showed us area around, took care of every step of our time being there. We were treated with such genuine love and care that we wanted to cry! This house provides not just amazing place to sleep but a real resort, that treats you as a king. I honestly doubt there is anything else like this in Sri Lanka. I wish we could spend more time there. Don’t hesitate to book if you wish to be in good trustworthy hands.

We stayed in one of the Hobbit-style rooms, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the room was equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and a private bathroom, all while maintaining its magical, rustic charm. The meals at Iggabara Hobbit House were a highlight of my stay. The kitchen serves delicious, home-cooked Sri Lankan meals made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Dining on the terrace, surrounded by nature, was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast, which included traditional Sri Lankan hoppers, fresh fruit, and tea, was the perfect way to start the day. The hospitality at Iggabara Hobbit House was warm, genuine, and heartfelt. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and their kindness added to the magical atmosphere of the place. They were always available to help with anything we needed. At night, the property is lit up with fairy lights, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. 15 minutes by walk or 5 mins by Tuk Tuk, and you reach the Turtle beach and some local restaurants.
