Wonderful comfortable Riad with friendly and helpful staff. Location is great and an easy walk to everything. They organised an afternoon trip into Agafay Desert with Quad driving, a Resort pool and dinner with local dancing and from pick up to drop off it was perfect. We also had the Hammam, a massage and dinner on the rooftop which was Superb. Breakfast each morning was also great with a good selection. Highly recommend.

I am a solo female traveler and this was a wonderful and safe place to spend a few days. I found the breakfast to be wonderful. Each morning there were two eggs brought hot to the table, a variety of warm breads, a selection of confiture, honey, butter. Coffee was in a carafe next to carafe of milk, ready at the table. The earlier you arrive, the hotter the coffee. There was fresh fruit each morning. -- I posted on socials, breakfast is not something you order, breakfast is something that arrives!
I really like how solid the building felt and the number of guest spaces were available in addition to the rooms. The stairs were very well lit which felt safe. I was able to enjoy sunshine on the rooftop deck. The Wi-Fi was better than average and strong on multiple floors. There was an obscene amount of hot water and I really liked my shower. The room service congenially arranged my toiletries for me and made my bed. I should add that the thing I like the best was being welcomed by Sarah. She is incredible gem of a host and a true sister to all, a wonderful mother and a warm and enjoyable personality. She really adds color and character to the Riad.

What an extraordinary place! This riad has been renovated with so much love for the detail, it's like sweets for the eyesight. The rooms are each individually designed. And the very best about this riad was the staff. The staff were so kind and loveley. Each and everyone of them. From the gardener, the cleaning lady, the waiter until the extraordinary great receptionist.

We were greeted with hospitality and were met with a lot of care. They were very flexible with everything and offered us help when needed. A must visit or staycation if one is close to Marrakech. There is a lot of activities in the area, including here that can be arranged. Me and my partner got to have a private cooking session with the chef and a tour around the garden which we extremely appreciate.

Calm place almost in the middle of everything. They even managed breakfast in the early morning because we had an early flight.

Sparkling clean and perfectly located in the heart of the Medina in a quiet, yet very accessible alley. Most important of all, the staff was the highlight of the riad, they went above and beyond to take care of us (and all of the customers). Our deepest appreciation to Olivier and his staff. For those interested, the property is dog friendly, and they have excellent recommendations for restaurants, guides, tours, etc. (not the usual touristy stuff…)

The staff was wonderful and very attentive. They got us all the taxis and information we needed. They had wonderful cat workers as well who were there when you wanted something to pet (He likes tips). The restaurant food and drinks were phenomenal and their happy hour slaps. The views of the courtyard and the flowers were to die for. It is a very quiet and safe area. Breakfast was good and changed from day to day. The cleaning ladies cleaned so well and would even fold our clothes for us.

Everything! The communication with Rachid before arrival, the warm, stylish welcome, the design, spacious incredible rooms, staff, the pets the plants, the roof terrasse.. and the true hospitality of moroccan tea on the house throughout the stay is a very appreciated, generous gesture. A true gem and home away from home in the Medina.

The stay was probably the best I ever had with booking. Perfect location in middle of all the hustle but at the same time the most calm environment in the whole Marrakesh. Road provides a safe heaven, full of trees, birds, sun at the roof top and welcoming staff always with smile on their face and great service. We were welcomed by Peter, who was offering many tips. The price is great and fair for what you get and no one is trying to trick you with extra costs, we were always told if something was extra charge in advance.

Staff was absolutely amazing!!! Very welcoming upon arrival. If you book transfer from airport, they will coordinate transfer and meet you at drop off location to walk you to the door (as it is in pedestrian zone). They walk through the map of Marrakech and take the time to give you tips/trips. Mousseim and Abdul were amazing!! Mousseim even spent multiple hours taking us to purchase good quality Argan oil and Morrocan carpets like a local. Highly recommend!!

Fatima the owner was very kind and helpful, she made the stay very comfortable and gave us some good recommendations on where to find good food 😊 her cat Chance and super cute dog Zin also made the stay very fun! The location was perfect, the toilet and shower was always extremely clean and the roof terrace is lovely. Loved the hostel and met some great people there!
Riad Alena is a true gem, excellent location, friendly staff, you feel safe and secure also, a good wifi.
