We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment. It's located near a quiet forest, making it the perfect place to relax and reconnect with ourselves. The air was fresh, the surroundings peaceful, and the nights featured a clear sky full of stars—especially the circumpolar constellations, which were stunning to watch. The apartment itself is spacious and fully equipped with all the appliances and household essentials you might need—it felt like home from day one. We didn’t miss a single thing. The temperature was pleasantly cool, which was a big plus in mid-July. Within a 10-minute walk, there were several restaurants, as well as a nice sports field where you could walk, play, or simply enjoy the greenery. We especially appreciated that the area wasn’t crowded—exactly what we were looking for. Our dog also loved the stay, from sniffing around the forest paths to walking with us near the lake. It's a very pet-friendly area, and that meant a lot to us. In one word: Insight. We left this place refreshed, grounded, and grateful. Located 29 km from Saint Jovan Bigorski Monastery and 46 km from Monastery of Saint George the Victorious, Chalet Mila in Mavrovo provides air-conditioned accommodation with views of the garden and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features family rooms. The staff were amazing. We arrived much later than planned in the evening but they gave us many instructions for the road, waited to meet us in person and show us the best road to the chalet.

Good place to relax after trip, hiking, visiting interesting point in National Park Mavrovo. Even in the late afternoon we found 2 short walks in the village: you can go to circle around the lake dam protecting the village from being flood by the lake. The view on mountains from the dam is picturesque. There is parallel unused asphalt road above the main road from the dam to the monument in the center of the village. Other walking direction is up the valley from the monument. Beautiful surrounding. The room is large and equipped as needed. It met our expectations, but we also read other comments before coming. Comfortable beds, balcony, shower cabin. The owner is friendly, speaks a little English and Polish. We have no problems with communication. He let us to use kitchen on the ground floor. There is large salon with tables and TV and separate kitchen equipped for professional cooking. There is safe parking place close to road, not on the road. We visit Mavrovo peaks and Galičnik village by car.
