We received such a warm welcome from our lovely kind Italian hosts Gianni and Carla at Casa Curtos. The accommodation is the sweetest little stone house set in their beautiful walled garden, full of succulent plants and cacti. The little house has a lovely comfy bed, hot shower and we were served a delicious breakfast on our little garden terrace. This included delicious bread and jam made by Gianni's own fair hands. They also organised our riding trip to the top of El Quemado mountain for us. Easy parking at the hotel across the street for a small fee. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise for a roadtrip stayover on our way to Mexico City from Monterrey. The beautiful and well taken landscape and large rooms were also a plus.

The service was above and beyond the ordinary. The owner and her family were very kind and outgoing. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Low water pressure but plenty of hot water. The hotel itself was beautiful inside. I believe it has maybe 8 rooms for occupation, all on the 2nd floor. A nice 2nd floor patio to enjoy meals or whatnot. The area for use on the main floor is spacious with a few tables to enjoy a lite breakfast. Parking is very secure within a large garage. Lots of parking space. The owner shared the history of the building with me... it was her grandmother's home which they turned into a hotel. I believe the home was written about in Mexican poetry. I was shown the book of poetry. The owner and her husband went above and beyond to make sure all my needs where met, including securing raw goat's milk for me and setting my GPS with a good fuel station to fuel up my vehicle on my way to my next destination. I tried booking a room at a hotel close to the highway for the night but had to book 3 nights, so I looked for another spot. I'm glad I didn't get a room by the highway as this place is a hidden gem. I will definitely be staying there again in the spring on my back home. Wonderful experience, wonderful people :)
