Set in Bhurkīā, Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Our stay at Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay was simply unforgettable! Shardul is an attentive and knowledgeable host, always making sure we had everything we needed and helping us enjoy the best of Bardia. His family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and we felt at home from the first moment. On safari, we were lucky to spot a tiger, rhino, and crocodile — a true once-in-a-lifetime experience! The food Sarita prepared was outstanding, honestly some of the best we had during our whole trip in Nepal. Everything was perfect — hospitality, comfort, food, and wildlife. Highly recommended!”

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. What a gem. I have been to Bardiya three times and Wildplanet is king. The rooms are comfortable, the property is beautiful, the village is charming, and the staff welcomes you like family. I seriously love this place. The other reviews will rave about the legend that is Baba and his team and their efforts in conservation and educaiton and talent as guides - but one aspect I don't see discussed is the quality of traveler Wildplanet attracts. Every night I seem to find myself engaged in fireside chats with the most fascinating of people. A constant stream of passionate thinkers, wildlife scientists, curious travelers and wild adventurers. Love it!

Set in Bhurkīā, Nanu's Bardiya Homestay offers accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms are equipped with a terrace with views of the garden. We stayed at Nanu’s homestay for a week and I can’t imagine a better experience in Bardia! Nanu and the family are incredibly kind people, and we felt deeply cared for the entire stay — would HIGHLY recommend staying with Nanu’s family. Safari experience: We were hoping to see a tiger, and went on two full-day walking safaris, a full day jeep safari, and several sunset/sunrise safaris with Nanu. A lof of patience & luck is needed to spot big animals, but Nanu pulled out all the stops to try to help us find wildlife, and in the end we were treated to rhino, leopard, gharial, and tiger sightings!!! Nanu is very invested in helping guests have the best experience possible — he even organized a sunrise safari on the day of our departure as a last-chance effort to see a tiger, which succeeded! Homestay experience: The family homestay environment is what truly made Bardia so special for us. Kali, Nanu’s wife, is extremely kind and welcoming, and is an excellent chef. She’s also a certified nature guide and does some junior guiding with Nanu, which is incredibly cool in a park with few female guides. Their sons are very involved with guests, and they have a sweet dog as well. The family is happy to help with arrival/departure logistics as well. Rooms: We stayed in the king room and had a big bed with a mosquito net & fan (though we didn’t need either in November), electrical outlets in the room, and a private attached bathroom with hot water. We also had a front porch with wicker chairs to relax in, and there’s a shaded communal eating area for guests & family. Be aware that the rooms are a bit rustic (screens rather than windows, some geckos/insects, etc.) but that’s to be expected for a homestay in Bardia! Value: Unbeatable value, which comes across in every aspect of the experience. We spent ~$200 USD per person for six nights at the homestay, including room, food, and many safaris with Nanu.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. I stayed at this accommodation a couple of nights. Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

And Krishna was my guide, he knows the park so well we saw tiger almost everyday thanks to him. The room is big and clean. Highly recommended

Hukum has lived in the area his whole life so is very knowledgeable about the park. We did a walking safari and stayed in a treehouse, both of which I would highly recommend. No tiger but we saw elephants and rhinos which were amazing!

Mr. B's Place has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Bhurkīā. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

At the hotel, rooms are fitted with a patio with a garden view. Featuring a private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries, rooms at Mr. B's Place also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms come with a balcony. At the accommodation, all rooms are fitted with a seating area. This place is family-run. The location is perfect, and while the facilities are basic, they include everything you need. We stayed in a small traditional cottage overlooking the beautiful flower garden. Waking up in this environment is incredibly peaceful. There’s also a small restaurant, with a menu that offers a subtle nod to European cuisine. Mr. B is retired, but still very involved with the guests. His sons Bibek and Bibesh, along with Loken, are experienced guides who take you on safari. They show great respect for the jungle and all the animals that live there. Because everything is freshly prepared, it can sometimes take a little while for your meal to be served. I definitely shouldn’t forget Bibek’s wife—on the days we weren’t on safari, she took great care of us. Everyone here is warm, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for you. During the time we were there, spotting tigers, elephants, and rhinos was a real possibility. All in all, this place is truly a hidden gem—and one thing’s for sure: we’ll definitely be coming back here again.
