We returned at 11.30 and took a shower. Our car was parked in front of the room. For getting there you definitely need 4WD car. Last few kilometers are realy bad. There is posibility for local breakfast for 3orm per person. There is also a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast on your own. The host was friendly. He explain us everything. He was waiting for us with tea.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. Beautiful place in a restored traditional clay house located in an incredible panorama. Dinner and breakfast are served on a terrace with a great view and are tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner introduced himself during dinner and invited us to a complementary tour through his museum in the morning, which was also brilliant. He is writing a book about the history of Misfat, so he had lots of knowledge and interesting stories to tell. Highly recommend this place!

Located in Nizwa, 800 metres from Nizwa Fort, The Garden Inn نزل الحدیقة provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Nizwa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very nice and welcoming and will do anything to ensure you have a great stay. We loved the building, it’s new yet has an authentic feel to it and still undergoing some renovations however this didn’t impact our stay at all. The room and bathroom was spotless with bedsheets and towels smelling nice and fresh too. The beds were very comfy and we slept perfectly. Big spacious room with a good aircon. Outside there is a garden area, a private drive for cars to park and an upstairs terrace with nice views of the sunset sky. The location is perfect, quiet and calm yet still only 5 minutes away from the fort and touristic areas. If I am ever back in Nizwa I would definitely stay here again.
