We loved our stay in the desert so much that we extended it by another night. The three tents are stunning, extremely comfortable, and beautifully decorated — much cozier than the larger nearby camp. Loay, our host, was amazing: he showed us around, picked us up, and made our experience truly unforgettable. Each tent has electricity for charging, lights, a solar shower, and a fan. The mattress was super comfortable. The camp is perfectly located up on the dune, not down by the road (on booking.com shown) the best spot in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was delicious at the large camp next door, though it wasn’t as cozy as this one. A perfect desert stay!

This apartment is truly perfect in every way - size, quality, location, amenities, location and the most open and friendly host, who recommends a trip with the best desert guide - Ali. I rarely give reviews and almost never give 10/10, but this time I would give 20 if I could! I confirm - it would be worth visiting Oman just for this apartment!

If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

Look no further than Desert Stars for a lovely great value desert trip. It is a comfortable small camp with only 10 tents and really welcoming hosts. Each tent has its own bathroom. There is a nice dining tent with buffet dinner included and a substantial breakfast with eggs and beans stew. We sat around the fire in the evening after dinner and watched the stars. I went on a sunset camel ride which was magical, and had a fantastic half-day safari into the dunes with Ahmed, who is a highly skilled driver and great guide. I saw baby camels, foxes and lizards and ended with a bedu lunch. Communication was smooth with the host by WhatsApp in advance, I arranged a transfer as I had a small car which was also smooth. Highly recommend!

The serene atmosphere, delicious traditional Omani food, stunning tents and fun activities, together with the incredibly friendly and genuinely hospitable guide Hamid, made this a magical experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend to people who would like something quite , serene and a notification free experience ;)

Amazing experience at Nomad, Tiwi (Oman) I had a fantastic stay at Nomad inn Tiwi. Everything was perfect from the start — the natural surroundings are beautiful, the accommodation is well-maintained, and every detail made me feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was definitely a highlight: fresh, delicious, and with great local options. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which really made the experience even better. I’d love to come back one day. Highly recommended if you’re looking for peace, great food, and an authentic experience in Oman!

Le calme et la petite taille du camp (10 tentes), loin des gros camps bruyants. Saud et l’équipe ont étés très acceuillants et serviables. Les tentes sont joliment aménagées, spacieuses et bien espacées. Les buffets du souper et petit déjeuner étaient très bon et copieux. Une vrai expérience du désert loin du bruit. Un grand merci à tous.

Everything was phenomenal, and the hosts were outstanding. Close to the campsite, there is a spot with a breathtaking view of both the sunset and sunrise. The food was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire, listening to stories about their people and way of life. At the end of the evening, we all danced together to their music. The people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend
