I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

Muscat International Airport is 199 km from the property. Nice small scale camp in the desert, only 6 tents. Very nice staff providing good service and friendly host. It is very magical to walk up the dunes and look at the sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed it very much, thank you! It might be good to know that pick up can be arranged for an extra charge from a meetingpoint (we were glad we did this as there are no signs to the camp). Also the dinner is not included in the price, however the food was very nice, so recommended!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the city. The property features barbecue facilities, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Good location. This is the only camp I found that provided free transfer from a village nearby. Great stuff they provide sand dune bashing and sunset tour and camel tour for great value. I spent three hours in the sand playing with so much fun. And then at night we had a star viewing with camp fire and hot tea. Owner brothers are great kind warm hearted people. And the camp is clean and safe! I would come back again.
