Great location out in the desert. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts. Accommodation was really nice, being able to sit on the balcony was really peaceful with great views. Food was also very good. The early evening walk in the desert (which is free) meant being able to see a fantastic desert sunset. Also did the trip to an authentic bedouin camp on the second day which was really interesting and gave a great insight into the culture. Would highly recommend a stay here at royal desert camp.

The location is perfect, breakfast and dinner very fine, this camp gives you the feeling to really visit the desert, while making sure that you have everything you need. Very clean tent, shower and toilet, excellent bed, all perfect. If one wants to experience desert in a very safe and still authentic way, do not book a chalet with pool, book a quality very large tent from a local person, Ali, who grow up himself, with his camels, in the desert, only 2 km away.

Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Thank you for a great experience and hope you use some lf 360 photos I sent you. :)

Overall experience was so good. Views are just spectacular. Rooms are very cleam and cozy, especially for a camp in desert. Food they provided are tasty as well (I brought my own food which was never used). Staff are very welcoming and truly friendly. Totally worth the money!

very good location, isolated from other gaps and with a very nice view on the dune to look at du kerr and sunrise. We particularly appreciated the enthousiasm of Badr, who took us for a ride on the dune before the sunset, we really appreciated his sympathy and enthousiasme. After dinner we enjoyed besoin songs an md we danced all together. It was very nice and out of time moment.
