It was a unique experience! I had never been to the jungle before, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

Absolutely beautiful place, an oasis of peace and calm after the hectic city of Iquitos. It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.

Our host Guillermo was helpful from the get-go. He made sure we understood the fair rate for transportation, made calls for booking a boat to Leticia. Asked a carpenter to stop working - it was loud- when we arrived back to our room. We didn't make this request, he just did it. He allowed us to check out late with a very very small fee. Instructed the moto-taxi driver to help us with our bags at the port. So kind and joyful, always smiling.
