Sehr gut ausgestattetes und sauberes Apartment. Parken direkt vor der Tür möglich. Wir waren im Sommer vor Ort. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die in der Region Norrbotten in Porjus gelegene Unterkunft Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. This apartment was super cozy. The living area and rooms were comfortable, especially the bed. The huge windows overlooking the lake was great especially for northern lights viewing. The hosts were accommodating to my requests and even messages me one evening to tell me the northern lights were happening. Would definitely stay here again!

Sehr hübsches Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet (regionale Produkte), sehr nettes Personal. Das 5gängige Menü am Abend ist ausgezeichnet!

Die Unterkunft Arctic Gourmet Cabin mit Seeblick in Kiruna bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosen Fahrrädern, einem Garten, einer Terrasse, einem Restaurant und einer Bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)

Das familiengeführte Camp Ripan liegt inmitten der Natur und ist nur 10 Autominuten vom Stadtzentrum Kirunas entfernt. On the edge of the city, there is less light pollution, but it is a pity that the Aurora can not be seen in the heavy rain.
