Many families with the small kids and toddlers, hotel is a family hotel indeed. Drive carefully, roads via mountains can be tricky.

Free WiFi is available in public areas. Perfect location for a ski holiday, a short walk to the ski lift. The property is grand, a mix of old and new . Feels very much like a mountain lodge. My room had amazing views of the mountains and surrounding forests, very quiet and peaceful . Breakfast was perfect, everything fresh and lots to choose from. The ski equipment room and lockers made it easy for me to get ready for each day skiing.

Located in the lobby, the bar serves a wide range of cocktails. Guests can enjoy a great selection of wines from the hotel’s wine cellar or unwind at the bar, which also features a dance floor. The hotel is clean and smells nice. The staff is polite and kind. The gentleman with the magnificent mustache was extra helpful with our food intolerance, so thank you again!

Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. It offers a self-catered accommodation with free WiFi in public areas and rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave good suggestions on places to visit, things to do, restaurants to try etc. The hotel is in a good location to access different hiking trail start points with short train rides (5-10 minutes walking distance to closest train station Sibir). The hotel offered wellness facilitates at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for staying in High Tatras!

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Limited WiFi is available for free and a high-speed internet connection is provided for a surcharge. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

The ski slopes are 200 metres away. Perfect location with stunning lake and mountain views. Close to hiking trails, the lake promenade, and the cable car. Excellent breakfast, tasty and fairly priced meals at the restaurant. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and an amazing wellness area with saunas and jacuzzis. Everything was just perfect – we didn’t want to leave!

Located at 1,355 metres above sea level, Strbske Pleso offers various possibilities to go skiing and trekking. Free parking is available on site. Amazing hotel, very clean. Walking distance from the lake, many attractions around. Food was amazing as well. Definitely coming back !

The apartments come with a satellite TV, a safe and a bathroom with a hairdryer. The deluxe room, 409, is fantastic!! Very big, very confortable and in modern style. The parking is really a plus and the brekfast was amazing. We spent 2 marvellous days!
