I was initially supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended it for 3 nights more. Everyone I met also had the same situation cause they loved the place and the family so much. I had a lovely time during New Year’s Eve with the family. This was one of the best new years I ever had. Every night sitting with the family by the fire place was one of the highlights of my stay. We also cooked together one of the nights cause they wanted to try traditional Turkish food. They are very open minded and super nice people. If you want to enjoy nature and experience Thai culture this is a place to stay. I think I will be back at a certain point.

Situé à Chiang Khong, l’hébergement Panna Kalong offre une vue sur la montagne. Il comprend un service de prêt de vélos, un jardin et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. La gentillesse de notre hôte, venu nous chercher à la sortie du bus et nous a conduit à la frontière le lendemain, gratuitement. Un peu loin de tout mais vélo à disposition et endroit charmant, plus resto de sa sœur à 50m succulent. Un rapport qualité/prix IMBATTABLE

L’établissement My Paradise Chiang Rai se situe à 10 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tour de l'horloge de Chiang Rai. This was a gorgeous stay, only wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly and made sure everything was lovely for our stay. The breakfast was generous and the baked goods, as you would imagine, were delicious. The villa is very modern and you can use the pool which was refreshing after a long drive.

Everything…….It’s perfect. It has everything you need just like living in your own house. I didn’t use it all but I did use the washing machine and it has all the racks, washing basket etc to dry everything on the veranda, Paul even supplies complimentary detergent and softener, even has board games if you’re couple or family, a far better option than a hotel. This place really does have it all. It’s so quiet at night as it’s in a residential area but also nice and close to the town with a 7-11 just up the road.

My partner Peter and I had the most amazing stay! The staff went above and beyond and have created such a beautiful place. They cooked you breakfast and dinner, and gave plenty of suggestions for things to do during the day. The backdrop from the balcony over the valley was truly special. The bathtub was also a great place to end the day! The hosts even took us to their mothers coffee plantation to check it out which was a fun experience. Couldn't recommend this place enough and we hope to come back again soon!

L’établissement The Estretto Resort se trouve à Chiang Rai, à respectivement 23 km et 24 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Monument du roi Mengrai et Temple Wat Pra Sing. The resort was amazing. Room was very big and very clean. The pool was great. Loved the bathtub area. Would love to go here again.

Situé à Ban Pa Thon et offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement Rai Phuchat propose une piscine extérieure, un jardin, une terrasse et un bar. This part of Chiang Rai doesn't get many tourists, but that doesn't mean it's not worth visiting, and this homestay is a great base. Loved the beautiful gardens and pool area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Most of all, what really stood out for me was the attentiveness of the staff. During my stay, the restaurant was not open, which could have been a real problem. But receptionist Bom drove me out to a good local eatery to make sure I didn't go hungry. I also very much enjoyed the company of permanent resident Mark. Always good-humoured and helpful, Mark was generous with sharing tips and directions and background on local customs. I definitely hope to repeat the experience.
