ThaiLife Wellness & Meditation Resort- SHA Plus offers Thai-style wooden bungalows with free WiFi and DVD players. The resort provides free shuttle service to a local market that is 5-minutes away. The property is surrounded by a cashew nut and coconut plantation. We enjoyed a night here during low season (June 2023) and the lake-side villa we stayed in was outstanding...spacious, comfortable bed, beautiful view, absolute peace and quiet - and we loved the outdoor shower too! The staff were very friendly, and the location of the resort near a quiet and secluded beach was wonderful. The main restauarant was undergoing renovations, so both dinner and breakfast was at the resort's beachside restaurant - a short walk from where we were staying. The menu selection was well thought-out, especially for vegetarians, and was both reasnably priced and tasty. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable, though we did have to ask for the hot dishes to be heated up (which was quick and easy). If you're looking for a quiet retreat in luxurious surroundings, this is a super option and we highly recommend it!

Guests can make use of a garden. Same like Paul from Vietnam said: Absolutely amazing - we had such a great time. To me it is perfect for a couple or up to 4 persons. Outdoors is a cozy living area with a large sofa as well. Communication was quick and helpful, in English or Thai. Nicholas is a great and down to earth guy. He can give you great expertise and tipps. There are 3-4 motorbikes which you can easily rent from him (250 Bath a day - standard cheap island prices). Go for it and explore the quiet island, it is amazing there. You will find peace, tranquility and friendly people everywhere. Do yourself a favour, maybe pay a little extra compared to a hotel, but go for Islands like this and accomodation like this. You won´t regret it. Thanks from Germany/Australia. Bamboo Beach House @ Phang Nga is a recently renovated holiday home in Thai Muang, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, private beach area and garden. Very comfortable accommodation, and Tim and Wit were incredibly gracious hosts. Very convenient location - right across from the beach. The property also catered really well to pets.

We booked two nights and ended up staying much longer — that’s how special Big Hug Home is. Pom has created a true paradise filled with love, creativity, and care. The open, airy rooms are peaceful and comfortable, surrounded by nature’s sounds, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof. Pom is one of the most inspiring people we’ve ever met — kind, artistic, and full of warmth. Her home-cooked meals were amazing (we even tasted her home-grown seaweed!), and her family made us feel right at home. Tucked away near the river, it’s quiet and surrounded by nature, yet easy to get around by scooter or local taxi. Kayaking through the mangroves was a highlight. Thank you, Pom, for everything — we’ll never forget our time here. 🌸
