All in all just an incredible hostel - perfect for relaxing! Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and waking up to the sound of the ocean. All the staff and volunteers were amazingly friendly! A perfect spot to relax and connect with nature. The surroundings are so beautiful and we loved our morning runs and river swims. The restaurant serves up amazing dishes - super tasty and fresh. Gorgeous, secluded location in the forest next to the river, you can easily walk to the Poza Encantada or the beach. At night the only sound is birds and the crickets. Really nice staff. There is a great common area with pool table and a platform with hammocks to relax.

The location is amazing, right in front of the beach with the balcony opening out onto the ocean. Great place to unwind, surf and recharge. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was injured by a rogue surfer on my lesson and they could not be more caring and helpful to ensure I was okay. Highly recommend if you’re considering passing through Mendihuaca.

The girls at the reception are warm and lovely. If you meet them you feel welcome. Location is amazing, as well as the dorms with mosquito nets and the sound of the ocean at night. Coconuts, beach, hammrocks, very very clean bathrooms (thanks for that!!)

Wow what a gorgeous place! Location is great right on the beach, the huts are big enough and have a lovely terrace and three owner is lovely. You can use the restaurant and pool in the hotel next door which was a massive bonus. Would definitely return.

We loved the location of the property, right on the beach. For the price, this place was not bad - we enjoyed having a private room after many nights spent in dorms. The man at reception was very helpful, and the hotel sells cheap bottles of water and other snacks which is great as there isn’t a shop nearby.

The location of the tents on the beach, however the water is rough so unable to swim in it. There are a couple of hostals next door where you can eat. Los Hermanos hostel has a pool you can use. The host is nice. The tents are clean.
