Breakfast was exceptional. Fruit coffee juice and toast to start witha choice of 5 cooked to order mains including a burrito, waffles, granola and youghert. Hotel is brand new with a lovely minimalist design, polished concrete floors, wood and glass over three blocks. Didnt fully appreciate that this is run to generate profits that go entirely educating local kids. Amazing. Dutch couple running it are inspiring. Great bedding options ( we got 3 singles)

We can really recommend Mi Casa Su Casa! Perfect location within 10 min walk to Santa Elena with restaurants and bars and close to the beautiful rain forests. The owners Sergio and Katia are indeed service minded and invested a lot of their time to recommend to us the most beautiful rain forests and parks but also restaurants close by. Sergio used to work as a travel guide and is very knowledgeable . The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious with a nice view. We booked rooms with a private bathroom. If we travel to Monteverde again we will definitely stay at Mi Casa Su Casa:-)

Rooms were nice, simply a place to stay, but what made the visit amazing was Lili She was incredible, gave us great tips, discounted tours, cooked breakfast and was such a nice and wonderful soul to be around. The house is a 10 minute walk from the city center of Santa Elena but the stay was really nice and I loved that there was a kitchen too

Carlos carlos carlos...he is as amazing host as the place! We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! One of our best accommodation out of 100s of countries! Pura Vida!

Absolutely fantastic. The sunset views in a hot tub with sparkling wine and the sounds of birds - memories will last forever. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The place is amazing! You have so much space and a well equipped kitchen. The views from the terrace are just beautiful and it is a quiet place in the middle of the nature. The beds were comfortable and we really could relax there. It is a little bit of a drive from town, but no problem if you have a car! The owner was caring and so friendly!

You can't really start talking about this place without mentioning the view. We were lucky enough to always have a great weather and the sunsets were just AMAZING. You can literally lay in the bed and watch the sunset though the wall-sized window. The best hotel view we've seen during our trip. The reception will arrange any activities you might want during your stay. Since the breakfast was not included, we went to Orchid Coffee - highly recommended. The room has a kitchen and the bathroom is roomy.

Great stay in this one. You do hear a lot of sounds from the room, so definitely no thick walls. But it was clean, comfortable and close to the city center. The host was super helpful, she helped us with booking all our Monteverde tours and planning the bus ride for our next location.

The best place to stay near to Monteverde! Especially if you have a rental car. The place is spacious, clean en the beds are good. Marcelo and his family are wonderful people. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Costa Rica. We also used the laundry service!

Monteverde Ecolodge is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are nice and well equipped. We had the excellent top suite under the roof. The landlady was very kind and helpful with local information. The location is top (near to most activities but quiet) and there are a couple of good restaurants around. So enjoy your stay - it's pura vida! And once again ¡Grascias! to the landlady!

My boyfriend and I (early 30s) stayed here for three nights and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful little huts with wildlife right on the doorstep (lots of butterflies, hummingbirds and agouti). Super friendly and helpful host family who served a delicious breakfast and provided treats when we returned after days out. Comfortable beds, quick internet, great showers. Mayco also helped us with organising a trip out and deciding which parks to visit. This is the perfect place to stay!

Cam place to stay on the edge of town, the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. There's a great restaurant right on the hotel grounds, and the city center is maybe a ten minute walk from there. Emmanuel helped me witj many questions and can organise guides and shuttles if needed. I would absolutely stay here again!
